I look forward to reading with you !

Start Your Own Business - by Rieva Lesonsky and the staff of Entrepreneur Magazine
There is no mistaking the sharp rise of entrepreneurship in recent years. Career coaching and business development was a demand in my business I could never keep up with. It was encouraging to see that people are not settling, and are taking (sometimes bold) steps towards a fulfilling career. One of the first books I would always recommend my clients read is this one – it’s a fantastic resource and road map for getting your business off the ground!

Broken Open - by Elizabeth Lesser
"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear". My teacher came in the form of a widely respected man who's known internationally and admired by everyone he meets. He recommended I purchase this book, and when I did I couldn't put it down. When you find yourself searching to embrace a higher meaning of any challenge or change you’re facing; pick up this intellectually stimulating read! You'll be glad that you did.

Igniting the Third Factor - by Dr. Peter Jensen
This book will make you a better coach, athlete, parent, boss, friend, spouse or entrepreneur. The best part is it's not just about igniting your own potential; it provides the tools to help you "flip the switch" and bring out the best in others as well. And, isn't that what it's all about -- making a difference? A must read and you might want to pick up two copies so you can give someone else this life-changing gift!
Fabulous Parties: Food and Flowers for Elegant Entertaining - by Mark Held, Richard David, Peggy Dark
I love everything beautiful and this book is simply stunning. If you're like me and enjoy taking entertaining to new elegant levels, this book is a must-read. It's also a great host-gift for the next dinner party you attend (this is how I was introduced and fell in love). An added bonus, it will enhance any room if left out on your coffee table. Enjoy!
Easy green living - by Renée Loux
I'm a big fan of Renée's work and would recommend all of her books -- especially this one! Although I've been "semi-green" for years, there were many tips, advice and insight shared in this book that were new to me. We don't consciously make the decision to harm the planet or ourselves for that matter, yet many of our day to day choices do exactly that. Easy Green Living points out the reasons why we need to change and gets us going in the right direction.
Eat, Pray, Love - by Elizabeth Gilbert
I've heard many rave about this book so my expectations were high going into it and I wasn't disappointed. I think Gilbert is one of the most enjoyable writers in print...

Her entertaining memoir is engaging, full of wit, rich in spiritual insight and beautifully romantic. She's a great tour guide, taking you to the places that really matter in life.

The Progress Paradox - by Gregg Easterbrook
Expect constructive insight that challenges your thinking. This book illustrates the emerging science of "positive psychology" and understanding what causes a person's sense of well-being. A very engaging and lively book!
In Search of Hope: The Global Diaries of Mariane Pearl - by Mariane Pearl.
This is a breathtaking book about 12 profoundly optimistic women from around the world making a global difference. Angelina Jolie writes in the books forward: "Mariane Pearl can recognize strength...Mariane has taught me that bravery is not dead; that modern heroes exits - the woman down the street or half way around the world. Her message seems to be that heroes are everywhere, and we should look to them and listen". A very moving book I highly recommend.
Sweetness in the Belly - by Camilla Gibb
No, this is not about pregnancy. It's interesting, I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book at the level I did. I learned a lot about Muslim culture.. it's an ambitious, compassionate story, modern and controversial, and a fascinating history lesson (for me anyway).
Giving - by Bill Clinton
Scandal aside, I have a tremendous amount of respect for Bill Clinton. He has the ability to capture my attention in an interview unlike anyone else. This book wasn't any different....I couldn't put it down. Bill reminds us that there are so many ways we can give beyond money. Brilliant read!
Water for Elephants - by Sara Gruen
I think I can sum this one up by sharing that I actually slowed my reading considerably because I didn't want the book to end.
Outside In - by Courtney Thorne-Smith
I loved Courtney on the hit series Melrose Place and Ally McBeal. This is a sharply observed, comedic novel that gives you a glance at the flip side of fame and it takes a fresh look at Hollywood in all its glory. An entertaining read.
The Secret History of the War on Cancer - by Devra Davis
I've always been a big believer in prevention and that we need to be our own advocate for our health. I have an open mind when it comes to learning and my style is to take what's been proven or what feels right and discard the rest. I will say this is a brave and brilliant book...undoubtedly a wake-up call. If you're going to read only one book this year, let it be this one!
The Juicing Bible - by Pat Crocker and Susan Eagles
Juicing can profoundly change your health and overall wellbeing. In my opinion, this is by far the best juicing book available.
The Wealthy Barber - by David Chilton
I'm highly recommending this book for the same reason it met sales of over 2 million in North America. It's great for any stage of life - especially young adults. I still stand by the fact that this book needs to be a part of our school curriculum and a pre-requisite to graduating.
1000 Places to See Before you Die - by Patricia Schultz
I LOVE this book. The inspiration it provides is priceless. In these pages you'll find unique and breathtaking destinations for every type of human experience...from adventure to beauty to spiritual awakening -- it reminds you that this world holds many unforgettable places and experiences.
Escaping Emotional Entrapment - by Daniel Rutley
This book is well written, straightforward and powerful. On average, it takes approximate 10 hours to read a book. Let's just say, with the wisdom in these pages it will be time well spent.
Brady Brady Book Series - by Mary Shaw and Chuck Temple
I've been reading to my 5 year old since he was 5 months old. When I introduced the Brady Brady book one evening his entire disposition changed. He loves our reading time but this particular evening, he was passionate about it. I couldn't believe how much he enjoyed the story.. so much so that when we finished he asked me if he could sleep with the book. It's true! And, it didn't stop there.
Many other parents shared similar stories with me. If you have a child touching your life, the Brady Brady books will be a sure hit.
The five people you meet in heaven - by Mitch Albom
Susan, my wonderful sister (in-law) gave this book to me because she thought I would love it. I began reading it one evening and couldn't put it down until I was finished. What a great story with so many powerful life lessons. It lifts your thoughts to a new level. A must read!
Eat, Shrink and Be Merry - by Janet and Greta Podleski
When it comes to cooking, I never use recipes. But, I still found myself buying this book and I'm glad I did. Sisters, Janet and Greta Podleski have recognized the need to dispel some of the misconceptions about diets, healthy eating...and living. They created a book that's jammed full of facts yet, they accelerated the learning by making it fun and easy to understand.
After reading this book expect to feel more empowered by the clarity you'll have surrounding food and lifestyle choices. And, even coming from someone who isn't a fan of recipes - I'm confident you will not be disappointed by them either!
SLY Moves - By Sylvester Stallone with David Hochman
A friend of mine is a big fan of boxing so he loved Sly in all of the famous Rocky Movies. Although I don't share his interest in the sport, I did read this book when he gave it to me -- and to my surprise, I really enjoyed it. Sly shares some of the private setbacks he's had in his life, his intimate and often unhealthy dance with many diets, his struggles with his weight, body image and the regrettable intense, cruel training that he put himself through.
At age 59 he is now feeling more fit and healthy than at any other time in his life and is passionate about sharing his insight on building strength from the inside out.
Secrets of the Millionaire Mind - by T. Harv Eker
My income doubled after reading this book. If you're looking to master the inner game of wealth, this is one of the best books I've ever read on the topic.
It's Not About the Bike. My Journey Back to Life.
by Lance Armstrong

Lance shares his personal inspirational story in an absolutely absorbing and entertaining way. This book focuses on what life is truly all about - & reminds us that we're only here for a brief visit...to live each day fully, passionately and purposefully.
Dig Your Well Before You're Thirsty
by Harvey MacKay

Success in business is all about building trusting deep relationships - before a person will lend you a hand, you must first touch their heart. Here's your goldmine for learning how to cultivate a network of support in a sincere yet effective way!
The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari
by Robin Sharma

Probably one of the best books I've ever read. It was a gift from a friend and it's still "giving" (even though the pages are falling apart from my reading it so many times). A beautifully written fable that will awaken parts of your soul you didn't know existed.
I guarantee you'll feel a warm sensation deep within your heart after reading it. If you're ready to breathe in purpose, this book holds the wisdom for a life-changing exhale.
The Wish List
by Barbara Ann Kipfer

Life is about living...feeling alive. It's about doing things that exhilarate, captivate and honour the adventurous/curious nature inside of you. This book helps me to think big, embrace new experiences and it holds me accountable for trying anything and everything that appeals to me.
It's a wellspring of over 6000 ideas for things to do, see, taste and learn. Read a few pages every day, check off the activities that entice you and make a commitment to accomplish each and every one of them in this lifetime. It's exciting and fun! Talk about living an inspired life!
Dare To Be Yourself
by Alan Cohen

The title says it all and it's the first well kept secret I help to uncover with all of my clients. It holds dynamic heart-centered wisdom to go beyond your old limits and claim the strength and love you deserve. Alan boldly dares you to love yourself, trust your guidance, let go of your past, forgive, move ahead and commit to living your vision.
I guarantee this book will slip into your subconscious and you will begin to honour yourself in ways you never did before. This authentic power is your key to happiness!
As A Man Thinketh
by James Allen

It's an old (very old) classic. Nothing pretty or appealing to look at but the book has inspired millions around the world. It's deep and very powerful! The wisdom behind life mastery is in this "little volume" and it's my constant resource for gaining clarity and direction.
Real Moments
by Barbara De Angelis

I read this many years ago and to this day I'm still fighting with the notion that Barbara wrote it just for me. I had read hundred's of books yet this one "spoke to me" at an entirely new level. It's written with a lot of heart and guaranteed to fill your spirit.
For me personally, this book held a threshold as I began to transform my life after reading it and walked away wanting to take much better care of my soul.
